About us

We in the property management department are responsible for the management and operation of Region Kronoberg's total property portfolio as well as the implementation of projects within the framework of operation, maintenance, and service. The property portfolio covers approximately 300,000 square meters. Our overarching goal is to provide suitable and reliable healthcare facilities.

In total, we are about 65 employees, located at the hospitals in Ljungby and Växjö. In the property service department, where this position belongs, about 20 people work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a driven sign and property technician who wants to be part of our team.

In this role, you will work to meet Region Kronoberg's signage needs but also work with property maintenance of our apartments and some office spaces. The position as a sign and property technician creates value for our tenants.

Good and correct signage facilitates for our patients and visitors to find the right place at the right time. Our sign technicians have an important mission for Region Kronoberg's patients, visitors, and employees.

The work as a sign technician means that you work in the entire production line, which includes everything from receiving incoming orders, manufacturing, and installation. The work often takes place in project form where you participate in the project and handle sign-related issues. Our sign technicians install privacy and sun protection, safety film, and create roll-ups as well as produce tactile signs.

The position will also partly involve property maintenance and oversight of our apartments and some office spaces. The work includes, for example, contacting our property managers, engineers, contractors, and also handling various product orders. The work also involves changing ventilation filters, conducting fire safety rounds, outdoor maintenance, and in the winter, working with ice and snow removal.

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school education is required for the position, for example from the aesthetic program with a focus on image and design, or another equivalent education with knowledge in graphic design or many years of experience in the field.

If you have experience with the programs FlexiDesign, Illustrator, and Vision Pro and have worked with laser engraving, printing, and cutting machines, we consider that an advantage.

Knowledge in property-related areas is also required for the position, and you need to be practically oriented.

The position is service-oriented and often involves multiple projects simultaneously, which requires good collaboration skills as well as the ability to plan and structure work. As a person, you should be solution-oriented and able to quickly find practical and creative solutions when problems arise.

Experience working with technical equipment and good computer skills are important.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement, as travel between different workplaces occurs.
